Thanks so much for making this video I just got to the end and the one thing I haven't quite understood is who is the Richtofen that comes through the portal and somewhat cruelly kills the one good Richtofen (which I thought was Primis Richtofen but am now not so sure) as he sacrifices himself? And also do they just bring along a completely insane lunatic brutal torturer and murderer Richtofen along with everyone, including the other Ultimis characters that he tortured?

Here's a bit of a ramble about my history with RvB as a huge fan of the series myself. I got into Halo when I was 7 years old. Found RvB around 8 years old. Finally got around to watching RvB in it's entirety at around 11 years old, and the latest episodes at the time were from season 14. I kept up with the episodes ever since, not because of the plot, but rather because I just love the Reds and Blues. When Zero came out and I heard that the original gang wasn't the focus of the story anymore, I decided not to watch it. Fast forward to June 2023 when I was 18 years old and I was dealing with some health issues and I was feeling very depressed. I decided it was a good time to rewatch RvB for the first time in like 7 years. I loved the show even more now than I ever did. I understood the jokes more and I appreciated the story a lot more too. A month into my rewatch, the trailer for Restoration dropped in July 2023, and I was as hyped as ever. I felt like my rewatch was perfectly timed. I decided to only stop my rewatch at the end of season 13, because for me, that was the true ending of RvB. I now held this series more dear to my heart than I ever did before. I seriously loved it so much and was even a little upset for the following week after finishing season 13. I even immediately considering rewatching from the beginning again lol. I've been waiting on Restoration ever since the trailer dropped, but to be honest, I just watched it yesterday for the first time, even though it came out like a month and a half ago now. Seeing how RoosterTeeth came to an end and the circumstances of the company for the last few years, I was a bit anxious to watch Restoration. I wasn't sure if it'd be good and I didn't know what to expect either, especially since it was only an hour and 25 minutes, which is about half the duration of the typical seasons. I also wanted to be 100% present while watching this. No distractions. Nothing else on my mind. I just wanted to be present in the moment and enjoy a new addition to this series one last time. Yesterday felt like it was the time to do it. And so I did. And honestly, it wasn't the best, but considering the situation that RoosterTeeth was in, I think Burnie did a great job here. Although I don't agree with Sarge and Doc's deaths and Tucker becoming the new Meta, I do think Burnie struck the right emotional chord within us. It felt so bittersweet watching Grif, Simmons, and Caboose sitting around the campfire and reminiscing about their adventures together. I recognized every scene that appeared in that moment. It was just so nostalgic and such a perfect scene. What ensued afterwards wasn't the best either. I wish we got to see Tucker's reaction to Sarge's death and finding out that he was actually the one to do it. But there's only so much that can be done in 80 minutes. Despite that, I still think season 13 was the perfect ending to this series and I see Restoration as just another simulation. Kind of interpret it as a way for us to see the gang one more time on screen and not really for the sake of plot. Well, that's just my own head-canon. Alas, this series is finally over. The feels didn't hit that hard yesterday, but when I was listening to Vale Deah today, the dam just broke. I remembered that this was the same song they played during both the first season ending AND the final season ending. These guys have influenced me so much. Agent Maine being an absolute unit was the reason I began exercising in 7th grade for the first time in my life. I could go on rambling even more, but there's other matters I need to tend to (college moment). If you read this far, thank you. I just wanted to put my sentiments out there as a fellow RvB fan myself. Much love to this series, to the fans, to the team, and the characters themselves.
